White Tiger is one of the four Chinese Legendary creatures. It has the meaning of Mightiness, Justice, and power. The Chinese use white tiger picture or figure to cast away evils. Amongst the four legendary creatures, the white tiger represents the direction of west, and the season autumn.
Because of it's Mightiness nature, white tiger is always associated with the military force. Hence, the white tiger had always appear on the army flag, or the naming of places.
